The brigade celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2012. It was heavily involved in the 2001 Christmas bushfires which severely affected much of the Shoalhaven. The brigade has one Category 1 Isuzu Heavy Vehicle Village + Multi Purpose Crew Cab tanker plus ancillary equipment.
