"Dukes of Hazzard" themed retail store and museum owned by Ben "Cooter" Jones and wife Alma. The couple opened their first Cooter's Place in 1999 in Virginia, Gatlinburg in 2002 and expanded to Nashville in 2005. The stores feature memorabilia from the popular TV show, the General Lee, props and personal appearances by the cast. Thousands of people have visited Cooter's and the attraction has been featured in national media outlets including CNN, The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly.
