Honkfest is another delightful fountain created by very talented Canadian artist, Douglas Walker.
Douglas is a master at taking ordinary objects and turning them into finely crafted fountains. He recycles an assortment of discarded musical instruments, brass, cooper, pluming parts, gauges, dials, etc. and transforms them into a magical piece of art.
This is such a creative fountain to watch as the water flows through the musical instrucments, and the copper tubing provides the flow of water to fall off the bicylce wheels and cascades into the basin of the pool.
Well worth a visit when you are in Castlegar.
