The Gazelle abstract sculpture is approx. 20 feet high.
It is made from steel and painted black. I could find no evidence of any sign or plaque.

The Gazelle stands in an open field in the North West area of Belle Isle, an island which is a Detroit City Park.

The locals call this sculpture the hammer.

The Gazelle is a Smithsonian Art Inventory Sculpture.
