St Agnes Catholic Church is located on the west side of Evansville in the area known as Howell. This area is an old blue-collar area with old train yard nearby. It is on Glendale Ave south of Broadway.
The church was built in the 1950s and is the home to Westside Catholic Schools. Several renovations have occurred here through the years, most recently in 1997 to rebuild the school building.
St Agnes was located in a different place prior to the current building. It was first organized in 1892 on S Barker Ave but later moved to the current location.
