This beautiful painting welcomes visitors to this small town in far NE Iowa. It is painted on the foundation of the Lansing Tea Company in downtown Lansing. Pictured on the mural are images which represent this area of the Mississippi River town: the bridge crossing the river with barge traffic beneath, the Mississippi Queen paddleboat, and an eagle/flag combination to show its patriotism. The painting was done by Michael Martino in 2004.
