This statue of President Dwight Eisenhower is located at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Birthplace in Denison, Texas. The bronze statue of General Eisenhower is 9-foot tall bronze and shows him in is classic Eisenhower Jacket. The statue was designed by Robert Dean, and unveiled in 1973 by Julie Nixon Eisenhower.
The Eisenhower Birthplace located at 609 Lamar Street in Denison, Texas. The grounds are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Park is Closed on Monday. Admission to the park is free, however there is a $2.00 fee to tour the house.
