About 9 km. south of Slocan, or 10 km. north of the Winlaw Post Office, at the side of Highway 6, one will find a large dinosaur.

He is on the west side of the highway, at Pair A Dice Ranch, and stands about 15 feet or so in height. He's welded together from old implement parts and appears as though he may be a Tyrannosaurus Rex. One would have to be looking directly east while driving by to miss him.
