The primary piece of this memorial is the 20 MM Antiaircraft Gun on the concrete pad. The 20 MM Antiaircraft Gun was the anti-aircraft gun of choice during the early years of WW II. There are several pieces of the gun missing including the ammunition magazine, the shoulder rests and the cartridge bag. Everything else appears as it is supposed to be. There are two shields on either side of the barrel. I am not sure if all of the 20s had this feature but I have seen lots of pictures where they are not attached.

There is a dedication tablet inset into the concrete pad which reads:

V F W
Sahler - Sedan Post No. 287
Dedicates This Memorial To
Those Who Lost Their Lives
In War Preserving Peace

Spanish American ........ World War II
World War I............ Korean Conflict

There are four posts at the four corners of the concrete pad with chains connecting them. A chain link fence encloses the entire memorial.
