Dedicated in 2009 along with a nearby statue of his former wife and co-star of the "I Love Lucy" comedy series, Lucille Ball, this bandshell has been the sight of many musical performances during the summer months by various local artists and bands since its dedication. The park has numerous public events held there each year and there are picnic facilities, children's playground, ball field, basketball court, boat launch, restrooms and plenty of free parking nearby.
