Der Lausbub ("The Rascal") is a small fountain in the Bäckerstrasse pedestrians precinct in downtown Herford, featuring the statue of a cheeky, but innocent looking little boy with a small water fountain springing up from the plinth between his feet. It was created by Herford sculptress Marianne Bleeke-Ehret in 1986 and was a donation by pharmacist Mr. H.-D. Schaaf.

In der Bäckerstraße steht seit 1986 eine Bronzefigur, die einen kecken, frech und doch unschuldig blickenden Lausbub darstellt. Geschaffen wurde dieser Brunnen von der Herforder Bildhauerin Marianne Bleeke-Ehret, eine Stiftung von H.-D. Schaaf. (Zitiert nach Wikipedia)
