Cross Section is a decorated utility box that shows how flora and fauna can interact in a sustainable manner while also celebrating the biodiversity of our state. This box is located south of the UC Berkeley campus on Bancroft at Telegraph Avenue.

The Earth Island Institute is working to support increasing nature and art in Berkeley, California. The Streets Alive project is an effort to bring vibrant public art to utility boxes in Berkeley.

Cross Section is an artwork by Keenan Gravier. The bottom half features the land and the upper half depicts trees, vultures, small and large animals living together.
