The flag of Alameda features red, white and blue colors. Being a port city on the inner San Francisco bay, Alameda uses a stylized overlay of a ships anchor on a capital A, done in Red and centered on the flag. The pole-side half of the flag is white with a single red star and the other half of blue with a white star. At the bottom are some stylized waves representing the nearby water.
