The South Platte Station was one of only two Pony Express stations located in Colorado. Also referred to as Frontz Station, it is generally believed to have been located about 2 miles east of the present Julesburg. Little else is known about this stop.

1) Locate and photograph a monument or memorial to the Pony Express, be it a stone or a mural or a roadside sign.

3) Include the coordinates of the location and the name of the city or town in your log.
