A memorial to the veterans of all United States conflicts from World War II to the present day is located on the east end of the Town Green in Ellington, CT.

A 5' high by 2.5' wide granite stele rests on a 6" high rough cut granite base. The upper part of the memorial has an incised eagle with wings partially spread. The eagle is perched on a sits on the upper half of a shield with stars and stripes.
