Medieval castle and Baroque chateau. The castle was founded by masters of Rýzmburk at the beginning of the 14th cent. In the 15th and 16th centuries, under masters of Rabštejn, it was rebuilt approximately to today's appearance. In the middle of the 18th cent. Baroque adaptations of the Lower Castle (the wing at the castle entrance) were carried out, and at the beginning of the 19th cent, the old part of the castle was rebuilt. After a recent reconstruction the castle was opened to the public. St. Maur's reliquary is exhibited here.
Both picture were taken under the stairs to the entrance of the castle.
