THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 12.0 MI NORTH-NORTHWEST OF LUCINDA,
10.1 MI WEST-SOUTHWEST OF KELLETTVILLE AND 8.3 MI NORTH OF FRYBURG.
OWNERSHIP--UNITED STATES ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS.
TO REACH FROM THE INTERSECTION OF UNITED STATES ROUTE 62 AND
PENNSYLVANIA STATE ROUTE 36 IN TIONESTA, PENNSYLVANIA, GO SOUTH ON
HIGHWAY 36 FOR ABOUT 1.37 MI TO THE ENTRANCE DRIVE TO THE TIONESTA
LAKE DAM. TURN LEFT ONTO THE ENTRANCE DRIVE AND PROCEED ACROSS THE
DAM FOR 0.3 MI TO THE ROUNDABOUT. TURN LEFT AND GO DOWN TO THE
LARGE LOWER PARKING AREA BY THE PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL BUILDING.
PROCEED SOUTHWEST OF BUILDING INTO AN OPEN GRASS FIELD FOR ABOUT
280 FT TO THE STATION IN THE CENTER OF THE FIELD.
THE STATION IS A STAINLESS STEEL PIN STAMPED ---USED--- SET IN THE
TOP CENTER OF A CONCRETE MONUMENT. IT PROJECTS ABOUT 6 INCHES. THE
STATION IS ON UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT PROPERTY.
