A.C. Gilbert Discovery Village is a children's museum located within several historic, Victorian-era homes. It is at the north end of Salem's Riverfront Park, between the Marion and Center Street bridges. Historic structures on the property include the A.T. Gilbert House, the Rockenfield House, the Parrish House, a re-built Wilson-Durbin House (the original was destroyed by fire in 1990) and the Little Gem Grocery Store. Also featured is a very large outdoor play structure.

The village is named for Alfred Carlton Gilbert, a Salem-born inventor who is best known as the creator of the Erector Set.
