EN: The rectory of Sissach is located in the village center on the right bank of the Diegterbach. It was probably built in the 16th century and remodeled in 1763 by ideas of the Baroque. Despite these modifications the Gothic origin of the building is clearly visible.
The two-storey house has an extraordinarily wide gable end with a half-hip roof on the east side, the former farm building annex on the west side was replaced by a younger extension.
DE: Das Pfarrhaus von Sissach liegt im Dorfkern von Sissach am rechten Ufer des Diegterbachs. Es wurde wahrscheinlich im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut und 1763 nach Ideen des Barock umgestaltet. Trotz des Umbaus ist der gotische Ursprung des Gebäudes klar zu erkennen.
Das zweigeschossige Haus besitzt eine ausserordentlich breite Giebelseite mit einem Halbwalmgiebel an der Ostseite, das frühere Ökonomiegebäude an der Westseite wurde durch einen jüngeren Anbau ersetzt.
