The nicely shaded, large playground area is set amongst spreading oak trees. The restroom area is conveniently nearby, and picnic pavilions are also readily available.
There are two sets of playground equipment (one for the tykes, the other for the older kids) as well as two different swingset areas.
Many festivals and celebrations are held at this popular park year round.
