A disused Victorian Pillar Box that is being engulfed by the neighbouring tree.

Not only is the tree wrapping itself around this pillar box but its roots are also growing upwards to such an extent that the door of the pillar box can no longer be opened. The pillar box, has therefore had to be decomissioned!

The manufacturers lettering has also been engulfed by the roots.

The disused pillar box is on the pavement of Ninian Road in the Cardiff suburb of Roath, just across the road from Roath Park flower garden.
