Union Bank of Finland (Suomen Yhdyspankki) had the local office in this building until early 1970s. Since 1986 Gasthaus Pooki has operated as restaurant and tiny hotel in the same building.

Walls of the mighty stone building are naturally unmovable. Tiny rooms and narrow corridors may not sound ideal for modern restaurant business. However, cosy atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food have kept the family business running for quarter of a century - While the bank that once occupied the building ceased to exist in 1995.
