A bronze statue on a pink granite pedestal on the northeast corner of the Burnet Co. Courthouse on the square in downtown Burnet recognizes Sheriff W. C. Riddle as the longest serving sheriff in Texas.
The statue is a full-length bronze of Sheriff Ridell in uniform. The base is engraved with a copy of his county badge and text as follows:
