And just behind that landing pad, the visitor will also find St. Paul's Visitor Centre. The landing pad was built in 1967 as a centennial project and in the 1990s the visitor's centre was added. It's the building whose roof looks exactly like a "flying saucer" or UFO.

This could be the only visitor centre in Canada with an 800 number dedicated specifically to reporting UFO sightings. The visitor centre also houses a UFO data centre, with data on UFO sightings and photos and other information on the subject available to browse.

1-888-SEE-UFOS - report your UFO sightings.

After all, almost every visitor to the town is there to see the landing pad, so locating the visitor centre adjacent to it was a real no-brainer. The visitor will, hopefully, find that there's more to St. Paul than just the landing pad, such as:
- Upper and Lower Therien Lakes - St. Paul is on the north end of Upper Therien Lake, a fishing lake with picnic areas and a playground. There are many other fishing lakes and campgrounds in the area.

- St. Paul has two indoor ice arenas, an indoor swimming pool, a recreation centre/6 sheet curling rink, 14 soccer fields, 15 community parks, 2 tennis courts, 2 sports fields, 8 ball diamonds, an 8 lane bowling alley, movie theatres, the St. Paul Golf Course, and a cross country ski trail area.

- There are also 6 community halls and cultural centres.

- For the RVer, there's a 40 site RV park.
