[DE] Anlässlich der 25-jährigen Partnerschaft zwischen Shimotsuke-Ishibashi und Dietzhölztal-Steinbrücken wurde im September 2000 am Hammerweiher in Mandeln diese fünfstöckige Pagode eingeweiht, die ein Geschenk des ehemaligen Bürgermeisters von Ishibashi, Herrn Kashiwazaki, ist.

Vor der Pagode findet man einen Stein mit folgender Inschrift in japanisch und Deutsch: "Diese Pagode symbolisiert das Gebet um Genesung von Krankheit und das Glück vieler Menschen sowie den Wunsch nach Blühen und Gedeihen von Volk und Vaterland. Gestiftet aus Anlass meines Besuches in unserer Partnerstadt Dietzhölztal im September 2000 Yasu Kashiwazaki (1994-98 Bürgermeister von Ishibashi Japan)

[EN] On the occasion of 25 years of partnership between Shimotsuke-Ishibashi and Dietzhölztal-Steinbrücken in September 2000 at the Hammerweiher in Mandeln this five-story pagoda was inaugurated. It is a gift of the former mayor of Ishibashi, Mr. Kashiwazaki.

Before the pagoda is a stone with the following inscription in Japanese and German: "This pagoda symbolizes the prayer for recovery from illness and the happiness of many people, and the wish to thrive and prosperity for people and country. Donated on the occasion of my visit to our sister city Dietzhölztal in September 2000 Yasu Kashiwazaki (1994-98 mayor of Ishibashi Japan)
