A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers survey mark on the west side of Sugar Hill Road in Hopkinton, New Hampshire, just upgradient of the west end of Drew Lake. Survey mark is located on top of a square concrete pedestal about 15 inches high, and has an orange fiberglass witness post placed on the west side of the concrete pedestal. Mark is stamped "H-35" with a date of 1970, and witness post contains a metal tag stamped "H-35 W" at the top of the post. Concrete pedestal is partially painted dark blue, and has old orange surveyor's flagging. Survey mark is about 20 feet west of the west edge of pavement, and is about 0.4 miles north of intersection of Sugar Hill Road and Stumpfield Road. Note that during spring runoff, the ACOE may close Sugar Hill Road in this area due to roadway flooding of Drew Lake. Concrete pedestal appears to be tilted to the west by about 5-10 degrees.
