Chrlice (Chirlitz) je historická obec, mestská ctvrt a katastrální území a od 24. listopadu 1990 pod názvem Brno - Chrlice s rozlohou 949,27 ha, ležící na levém (východním) brehu Svratky.

Sbor dobrovolných hasicu byl založen roku 1892. V soucasné dobe má sbor 45 clenu. V zásahové jednotce pusobí 18 clenu.
