The trail is next to Des Moines Creek, which is a babbling brook alongside the trail. It makes for a pleasant background noise in between the planes passing by overhead. The trail is 2 miles long and the other end is at N 47º 25' 21.61" W 122º 18' 19.91". It is a popular trail with walker, joggers, bikers and skateboarders. There are dog walkers along the trail as well. It is especially popular in the summer months (May-September).
