Lena Water Tower - U.S. National Register of Historic Places on Waymarking.com

Construction of this water tower started in 1895. But it collapsed before completion due to poorly mixed morter. It was torn down and rebuilt in the Spring of 1896.
I discovered some recent information that the water tower may be painted Red, White, and Blue in the near future. Funds are being raised for the project.
