If you were to spend an hour or more at Gyro Beach on a hot summer day, eventually you would probably find yourself in front of this Apple - ordering something wet and cold. Yes - it's a symbolic version of a hot dog stand - serving dogs, burgers, and lots of cold and wet selections. Symbolic of the first major industry in the valley, and still one of the major revenue producers.
I have no idea how long the stand has been there, but it's been there long enough to become a local legend of sorts.
