The Fox Theater, which opened on February 27, 1930 had a Robert Morton 2 Manual pipe organ, which came from a theater in Los Angeles. In August 1956 the organ was sold and removed from the building. In 1976 the theater was triplexed and continued to show movies until it closed on November 7, 1996. The Friends of the Fox soon took over the theater and renovated it. The Fox reopened on November 20, 1999 and since then has served as a community and performing arts center. Source
