Not NEARLY the coolest water tower in Wilson, the Wilson Muncipal Tank is still fairly spiffy with its red hat. This tank is also NGS benchmark JG0718.

This cute tank is the kind the Blasterz love, and normally would be our favorite tank in town. But when the competition is a round post-rock limestone water tower that was turned into a jail and is now on the National Register, it really didn't have a chance at top honors, despite the perky red hat :(
The Wilson Municipal Tank has been serving this Czech outpost in KS since the 1920s. It is listed as NGS Benchmark JG0718.
