Porter's Porker's gave us a guffaw as we left Glen Elder KS.
The barn is made from local post rock limestone with a wooden roof wide enough for a logo, pig painting, product catalog, and catchy slogan.
Blasterz, being from Texas, know more about cows than pigs. That knowledge has been obtained by cultural osmosis and long hours eating barbecue, since Blasterz are urban Texans. But we are not completely computer-illerate, so we used the Inter-web to learn that when Porter's Porker's says they are a commercial gilt supplier, this does NOT mean they make golden pigs. It DOES mean that they specialize in selling young female pigs (gilts) who have not had a litter of piglets yet.
