[DE] Dieser an Schienen gebundene Lader wurde im Erz- und Kohlebergbau eingesetzt. Man verwendete ihn dazu, Steine, Felsbrocken und anderes festes Material, das bei der Erweiterung der Stollenanlage ("Streckenvortrieb") anfiel, zu verladen. Das von der Schaufel aufgenommene Ladegut wurde über Kopf in eine am Lader angekoppelte Lore ("Hund") geworfen, die dann nach Verfüllung zur Verladerolle gefahren und dort abgekippt wurde.
Der Fahr- und der Lademotor des Gerätes wurden durch Druckluft angetrieben. Der Maschinist stand seitlich an der Maschine.
Der nach Patenten der schwedischen Firma EIMCO bei der Maschinenfabrik Atlas in Hannover gebaute Wurfschaufellader war im Siegerländer Erzbergbau Eiserfeld und in der Schiefergrube Wissenbach eingesetzt. Zuletzt fand er im Tonbergbau Stephan im Haigerer Ortsteil Langenaubach Verwendung.
