The Charles A. Harding Memorial covered bridge was dedicated on August 9, 1998. It has a 92-foot span over Plum Creek on a closed portion of Main St in Olmsted Falls. It was designed by John Timmer of Richland Engineering. Captain Charles Harding (1915-1944), from Olmsted Falls, was killed in action during World War II in the battle of Normandy.
