One of the most important mediaeval monuments of Pljevlja is the Holy Trinity Monastery, built at the end of the 15th / beginning of the 16th century. This monastery is famous for its "Vrhobreznicka" scriptorial school, beautiful frescoes and a treasury. The monastery is situated between the hills surrounding Pljevlja, above the vast park on the outskirts of the town.
