Between British Columbia's Fraser Valley and Washington's Whatcom County there are several points where the each has roads within a stone's throw apart. This location a few kilometres east of the Aldergrove/Lynden border crossing is one.
In the photo to the left is the Canadian '0' Avenue. To the right is the American Boundary Road.
However a word to the wise. If you come here do not even attempt to cross the border or even stick your hand across the imaginary line. Homeland Security has many patrols in the area and high powered cameras that are constantly watching people attempting to cross illegally.
Type of survey mark: International border survey metal post
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: Clearly visibly to the south '0' Avenue intersection with Defehr Road.
What property is this mark defining?: The Canadian / American border
