This cemetery is located on the south edge of Ipswich on the east side of SD Highway 45.
It is well maintained and has a fence surrounding it.

Ipswich is a small community in Edmunds County, South Dakota.
Its population as of July 2008 was 866, reflecting a drop in population of about 8% from the 2000 census.
The area was settled by German, Norwegian, Irish, Russian, Czech, and English peoples.
Ipswich has a rich history that began over 100 years ago with the coming of the railroad. The town has grown into an agricultural community. The 1000 residents have strong values and the hard work ethic that came west with their pioneer ancestors. Ipswich, the county seat of Edmunds County, is only 25 minutes from the third largest city in South Dakota - Aberdeen. Located at the junction of US Highway 12 and SD Highway 45, Ipswich is only 100 miles from Interstate 29 to the east and Interstate 90 to the south. With a population of just under 1000, Ipswich is a Class 2 Municipality. We are served by a mayor and six council members, who are elected from each of the three Wards. The Ipswich City Council meets every first and third Monday of the month at the City Hall at 7:00 p.m.
