Da Elvis Presley købte Graceland i 1957 var de kendte porte ikke en del af stedet. Abe Saucer designede dem og John Dillars, Jr. fra firmaet Memphis Doors Inc. fremstillede portene som blev leveret og sat op d. 22. april 1957.
Ved indgangen til det eneste stationære Elvis museum uden for USA, Graceland Randers, er opsat en nøjagtig kopi af den verdenskendte port fra Elvis' hjem i Memphis.
When Elvis Presley purchased Graceland in 1957, the well known gates were not a part of the property. Designed for Elvis by Abe Saucer and made by John Dillars, Jr., from the firm Memphis Doors, Inc., the gates were delivered and installed on April 22, 1957.
At the entrance to the only stationary Elvis Museum outside the states, Graceland Randers, you will find an exact replica of the famous music gates from Elvis' home in Memphis
