The Arena and Aquatic Centre complex was opened on June 20th, 1987. It is located on the west side of 19th Street, on the south side of Highway 3, or Central Avenue.

These hoops were installed in a parking area to the east of the arena. It seems a smart way of getting dual usage from the area.
There are two half courts, and naturally, the surface is asphalt. I would imagine that they will see a lot of play, as we didn't notice any other outdoor hoops in that area of town.
