This station is a standard U.S. Geological Survey bench mark disk, located in Easton CT. It is set in a large rock outcrop at the inside (northeast) angle of the junction of North Street and Eden Hill Road.
The USGS description:

HATTERTOWN, 2.1 SW OF, ALONG EDEN HILL RD.; AT WYE ROAD FORKS; 18-FT NE OF INSIDE OF WYE; AND 7-FT HIGHER THAN ROAD LEVEL; 8-FT SW OF STONE WALL; IN LARGE ROCK OUTCROP; STANDARD TABLET STAMPED --6 RS 1949 526--
