DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1985 1.7 KM (1.05 MI) SW FROM REDDING RIDGE. 1.7 KM (1.05 MI) SOUTHWEST ALONG CROSS HIGHWAY FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 158 IN REDDING TRIDGE TO THE MARK ON THE RIGHT, 11.2 METERS (37.0 FT) NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF CROSS HIGHWAY, 27.8 METERS (91.5 FT) SOUTH OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF A BRICK BUILDING, 19.5 METERS (64.0 FT) NORTHEAST OF POWER POLE 407, 16.9 METERS (55.5 FT) WEST OF POWER POLE 406 WITH THREE TRANSFORMERS. THE MARK IS 0.91 M ABOVE CROSS HIGHWAY.
This mark is an easy find, in the large rock outcrop in front of the town pumphouse.
