The Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail is a biking and walking route and, when completed, will link local, regional, and state-sponsored trails into a continuous corridor along the Monterey Bay coast. The trail will extend from Lover's Point to Wilder Ranch State Park in Santa Cruz.
This 4-mile stretch of trail running through Fort Old Dunes State Park is a section of the scenic trail in Moterey County. The project is funded with federal dollars obtaines with the help of Congressman Farr.
