Located in an area with several art galleries, this mural was apparently sponsored by the Art Institute of California- San Diego. It may be a homage to filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock...since in one scene we see several birds...and in another scene we see a spiral drop...reminiscent of the movies "Birds" and "Vertigo" respectively. There is a depicton of the nearby intersection sign for Ray Street and North Park Way and also a sign for the Ray Street Nights..Art & Culture...and event held monthly when the local galleries are all open and free to visit.
The work is signed with the names of several artists (some of which are no lonmger readable)...but Grace Ann Piano is listed as the Mural Director.
