This is the confluence of two small rivers, Aa and Werre, in Herford. The Aa is formed by the confluence of two creeks (Lutter and Johannisbach) in Bielefeld and after only about 8 kilometers flows into the Werre in Herford. The Werre has its source in the Lippe Mountains in Horn-Bad Meinberg, touches the towns Detmold, Lage, Bad Salzuflen, Herford and Löhne and after 73 kilometers flows into Weser river in Bad Oeynhausen.
Coordinates were taken on the east bank of river Werre, where there is a lookout platform directly at the point of confluence. As the spot is in the city center, it is fairly easy to access and only a short walk from anywhere in downtown Herford.

Dies ist der Zusammenfluss der beiden Flüsschen Aa und Werre in Herford. Die Aa wird durch den Zusammenfluss von Lutter und Johannisbach am Stadtrand von Bielefeld gebildet und erreicht nach wenigen hundert Metern Herforder Gebiet, wo sie nach nur rund 8 Kilometern in die Werre mündet. Die Werre entspringt im Lippischen Bergland im Stadtgebiet von Horn-Bad Meinberg und berührt in ihrem Verlauf die Städte Detmold, Lage, Bad Salzuflen, Herford und Löhne, bevor sie nach rund 73 Kilometern auf Bad Oeynhausener Gebiet in die Weser mündet.
Die Koordinaten wurden auf einer kleinen Aussichtsplattform am Ostufer der Werre eingemessen, die direkt auf der Höhe der Flussmündung liegt. Durch die zentrale Lage in Herford ist die Stelle von der Innenstadt aus gut und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen.
