Das MARTa ist ein Museum für Gegenwartskunst und Design und wurde 2001 - 2005 von dem amerikanischen Meisterarchitekten Frank Gehry erbaut. Das Äußere des Gebäudes ist eine chaotisch, aber durchaus harmonisch anmutende Ansammlung unregelmäßiger runder Formen, zur Vorderseite hin gibt es keinerlei Fenster. Das Museum zeigt periodisch wechselnde Ausstellungen und ist Di-So 11-18 h geöffnet. Der Eintritt beträgt 7,00 € für Erwachsene, Kinder unter 10 Jahren haben freien Eintritt.
