Die Wasserkraftanlage wurde 2006 umfangreich renoviert. Die Hauptwehranlage und die Wehranlage am Umlauf sowie der Rechen mit der Rechenreinigungsanlage wurden dabei erneuert. Dem Rechen nachgelagert ist heute eine Spülrinne mit Absperrschieber zum Abschlagen des Rechengutes ins Unterwasser.
Durch die zweiteilige Wehranlage am Umlauf wurde eine Konstanthaltung des Oberwasserspiegels möglich. Außerdem wird an diesem Wehr das am Schwimmbalken angetriebene Treibgut ins Unterwasser des Umlaufs abgeschlagen.
Einem zusätzlichen, wesentlichen Beitrag zur Leistungssteigerung der 15 KW-Turbinen konnte weiterhin durch die automatisierte Steuerung des Leitapperates am unteren Ende der Turbine erreicht werden.
Die Voraussetzung für eine möglichst hohe Leistung der Turbine ist ein ausreichender Wasserdurchfluss für die Turbine von 1,5 bis 1,6m³ pro Sekunde bei einer Fallhöhe von 1,6 bis 1,8 Metern.

The hydropower plant was renovated in 2006 extensively. The main weir and the weir on the circulation and the rake with the rake cleaning system has been updated here. The rake downstream today is a slide valve for Spülrinne knocking the screenings into underwater.
The two-part defense system on circulation to maintain a constant upstream water level was possible. In addition to this, the military driven flotsam on the floating bar is knocked into the underwater circulation.
An additional, significant contribution to the performance of the 15 KW turbines could still be achieved by the automatic control of the lower end of the turbine Leitapperates.
The prerequisite for the highest possible performance of the turbine is a sufficient water flow to the turbine from 1.5 to 1.6 cubic meters per second at a height 1.6 to 1.8 meters.
