The multi-paneled “Image Wall” on the Duluth Lakewalk was part of the community revitalization project that was done in 1992. This 580’ mural is constructed from 1” tiles to depict highlights of Lake Superior. These blue and gray historic marine images appear as if they are taken from old Duluth newspapers. This huge artwork is mounted on the wall just below the highway and train track, a real bonus for those traveling along the foot trail along the shore.
