In front & to the right of the Donegal Presbyterian Church Complex is the William Kerr Study House, circa 1810. The brickwork varies in tone and shades giving the house a very unique and interesting look. The house is part of the entire NRHP site.

The study house was built in 1810-1811 and over the years has been used for many purposes. At one time it was the caretaker’s dwelling. It was remodeled in 1976, with careful attention given to preserving all the historic aspects of the building and architecture, and dedicated as the William Kerr Study House in honor of Reverend William Kerr, pastor from 1807-1821. Today it houses the records of the Church and Society, the pastor’s office, and meeting rooms.
The house is mentioned in the NRHP nomination form from 1984 as it contributes to the overall NRHP site although it is not a district:
