This sign is located on the east side of a bar called the 1850's Inn. Interestingly enough, Valentin Blatz started his brewery in Milwaukee in the year....1850. By the 1900's, Blatz was the nation's third largest brewer of beer. Today, the Blatz label is owned by the Pabst Brewing Company, but is brewed by the Miller Brewing Company for Pabst.
